Why some people, places and moments stay with us.

SSSuresh Kumar Sharma6d

Yaadon Ka Circle — bring one thing

An object, a photograph, a recipe, a phrase somebody said constantly. One thing, and the story that comes with it.

Everything anyone shares stays theirs. Nothing goes anywhere without being asked.

Memory is strangely selective.

It forgets dates.

It forgets what everyone was wearing.

It forgets the details we thought we would remember forever.

And then, years later, it gives us back someone's laugh.

Perfectly.

Perhaps remembering was never about keeping everything.

Nikhil Sharma asked4w

Whose voice do you still hear?

A grandparent's phrase. A parent's laugh. The particular way someone said your name.

Memory keeps some people close long after they've gone — in the smallest, most ordinary sounds.

Whose voice has stayed with you, and what does it still say?

That is the beginning. You have seen every one of the posts.
