Two conversations, before anything else
Over the next few weeks we are going to sit down twice. Once about what a family should keep in one place, and once about the things we remember people by.
Neither is a talk. Neither is a service being sold to you. If you have ever put off a conversation because there was no good moment for it, these are the moments.
The first one — Baatein Zindagi Ki
Saturday 10 October, 5:00 pm. Ninety minutes, in person. A residential clubhouse — the venue is being confirmed and will be posted here.
Twenty minutes with a lawyer or financial planner on the essential things every family should keep in one place. Documents, nominees, insurance, key contacts, digital accounts, and the wishes a family should know in advance.
Thirty minutes in small circles, on three questions:
· What would your family struggle to find today?
· Which conversations do we keep postponing?
· What should every family know in advance?
The rest is tea and each other.
You take home the Mahaprayaan Family Preparedness Checklist. Something to fill in at your own table, not a brochure.
Thirty to forty people, mostly 55 and above. Adult children are very welcome, and honestly, bring one. Most of what gets postponed is postponed between exactly those two people.
Tell us you are coming. Going, Maybe or Can't on the event page, so we know the numbers and the tea: community.mahaprayaan.com/events
The second conversation follows. We will post it here first.
