The small ones
Not every ritual is religious.
Tea at the same time every morning. A call every Sunday. The same sweet on the same day each year. The route someone always took on their evening walk.
These are rituals too. They hold a life together with the same quiet strength, and they are usually the ones that end without anyone deciding to end them.
